TISSINGTON HALL ROOF
The lovely Jacobean manor of Tissington Hall has been the home of the FitzHerbert family for over 500 years.
Tissington Hall in Derbyshire had a history of roof repairs not lasting very long. In fact, for 27 years the roof had leaked causing a lot of water ingress damage. Stone, timber, panelling and flooring had all been ruined.
Our challenge was to fix it.
Over 12 months, we researched the issues, created a defects list, and then corrected them one by one. Using a mix of modern-day and traditional materials.
The result was that the leaking stopped and progress could then be made on repairing the inside.
Sir Richard was relieved that his home had finally been protected from further rot.
